Rapid Rehousing
Our Rapid Re-housing (RRH) is an IDHS HUD grant funded program is referral matched that provides medium and short-term tenant-based rental assistance and supportive services to households experiencing homelessness. Program Participant 1. Under our RRH Program participants must be currently homeless.2. Program participants must be selected through HUD local Continuum of Care's (CoC's) established processes for evaluating and prioritizing households for Rapid Re-Housing as is required by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).3. Supportive Services - RRH program offers participants supportive services to help them achieve long-term housing stability. All eligible supportive services provided will help program participants obtain and maintain housing. Rental Assistance -provide tenant-based rental assistance to pay a portion of the rent on behalf of program participants for individual housing units. Under rental assistance, the lease for the unit is between the program participant and the property owner. Rent must be reasonable in relation to rents charged for comparable units in the area. Rent may not exceed the lower of 120% of Fair Market Rent (FMR) or the rent reasonableness limit for the unit, but the rent can never exceed what is considered reasonable to support that unit.
Employment/income Service
Provides referral for individuals to employer's that has job openings. We offer a wide range of employment readiness training that will help land and excel in job searches. Income program offer opportunities to help people gain the financial knowledge, skills, and access to resources necessary to effectively manage finances through adulthood. Employment/Income programs address a broad range of vocational skills that help gain the abilities and training necessary to be successful with employers, and identifying effective strategies to collaborate with financial institutions.
Youth and Family Guidance
Create and implements services that enable youths/families to overcome obstacles, focus on their education and, ultimately, to succeed in school and in life. To develop and maintain healthy and functional family relationships. The goal is to identify and address issues and concerns in the family. These issues could be emotional, psychological, or behavioral.
